CDC：The use of antibiotics is the single most important factor leading to antibiotic resistance around the world. Antibiotics are among the most commonly prescribed drugs used in human medicine.  However, up to half of antibiotic use in humans and much of antibiotic use in animals is unnecessary or inappropriate. CNN：For the first time, the CDC is categorizing drug-resistant superbugs by threat level. That’s because, in their conservative estimates, more than 2 million people get antibiotic-resistant infections each year, and at least 23,000 die because current drugs no longer stop their infections. 對抗醫學以殺死細菌、病毒、病變細胞為主要手段。然而，這種對抗思維對演化速度遠遠快過人類的細菌病毒是有利的，不斷地研究更新的抗生素，已經造成更強大的細菌與病毒，抗生素不但無法殺死他們，反而嚴重傷害人體及對人體有利的細菌。中醫以調節人體內部狀態為主要手段，讓壞的細菌、病毒、病變細胞不能在正常的平衡的人體內部環境下發展，其實是比較先進的思維。
